Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is an American author, and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She has been an adjunct professor in Law at New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree from 1983. In 1985, she earned the Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney. The correspondent was a lawyer of NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 to 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has worked as a Fox News analyst since 2001.
