Andrea Anders

Anders is from Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in DeForest and now lives in Los Angeles. She completed her studies at DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993 She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens point in 1997. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders and her Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship lasted from 2006-2015. They first came together on the sets of the now cancelled sitcom. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her older brother. Anders was in the theatre as early as 2001. She played Elaine Robinson, the Broadway version of the film's Elaine Robinson. Also, she appeared as a character in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. She was also seen in two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender, and New World Rhapsody. In May 2007, Anders started her role in The Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. Fat Pig ended on 1 July 2007. Anders was first discovered on TV in an ad for Dannon, which aired around 2006. She then appeared on the show in the 90s. Anders is a member of Joey, as Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. Both shows were cancelled even though she was on every episode. Anders is also a guest appearances for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five shows of HBO's dramatic series Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart. In 2004 she portrayed Heather on The Stepford Wives. And in 2008, Brandy made a small appearance as Brandy in Sex Drive. Anders has also been seen on Numb3rs in the year 2008. Anders also appeared on two television pilots that did not succeed. Spellbound and News To Me were the two pilots that failed on television. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera workplace comedy created by Victor Fresco for ABC.
